An organizational tool. These templates help you plan and record. They are not legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing here replaces a court order, parenting plan, mediation or advice from a family-law attorney. If you have a court order, follow it.
Digital download. Nothing is shipped. Files are delivered digitally. Colors may vary slightly between screens and printers.
Personal, family use. Print as often as you like for your own household or households. Not for resale, redistribution, or use in classroom or clinical products.
About this resource
What it is
Kids cannot control where they sleep each night, but a familiar sequence — teeth, pajamas, book, lights out — can travel with them. These fourteen pages give children something steady to hold on to, even when the two homes do things a little differently.
Picture charts need no reading: big colored icons, one step per row, and a dot to color for each day. Text charts add times and Monday-to-Sunday checkboxes for older children. Every chart is marked “for Home A / Home B / both”, because the pages never say one home’s way is wrong.
Why it helps
- One familiar sequence in both homes gives a child something predictable to hold on to.
- Removes the nightly negotiation — the chart asks, not you.
- Each home can print its own version where the steps genuinely differ, without implying either is wrong.
